The Storm was conceived, curated and produced by Mike Pony for <a href=\"http:\/\/ibt15.co.uk\/\">IBT15: Bristol International Festival<\/a>. Festival audiences experienced a clubnight punctuated by performance, digital art and immersive storytelling. The event melded DJs and dance music with live performance, immersive environments, visual art and a healthy dose of festival hedonism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The core of the event was an hourly digital storm on the dancefloor; a&nbsp;heart-stopping hurricane of strobe, sound and light from digital artists <a href=\"http:\/\/www.playmodes.com\/\">Playmodes<\/a> (Barcelona). The Storm played host to an array of late-night performance, live art, visual art and electronic music from <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/David_Hoyle_(performance_artist)\">David Hoyle<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/maiovvi.bandcamp.com\/\">Antoni Maiovvi,<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/fkalexan.de\/r\/\">FK Alexander<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/angelmachines.blogspot.com\/\">Adam Electric<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/rummaging.org.uk\/\">The Rummage Orchestra<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alfieordinary.com\/\">Alfie Ordinary<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/vickiefear.co.uk\/\">Vickie Fear<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.residentadvisor.net\/dj\/dirtytalk\">Dirtytalk<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HorseplayClub\">Horseplay<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/perfectlyshoddy\/\">Joe Evans<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/channels\/7684\">Fat Butcher<\/a>, and&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/walkaboutprojection.co.uk\/\">Prickimage Walkabout Projection<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"IBT15: THE STORM (Official Festival Party)\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/117968292?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Audiences attending The Storm were asked to dress as survivors of an apocalyptic storm. The legend of the storm was then revealed through an audio experience on entry to the venue. Once inside, audiences discovered the intricacies of the story through exploration of the site, bespoke visuals and character based story telling.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Theatre Bristol, The Island, Brothers Cider and Bristol 24\/7.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Storm . Festival regulars are joined by hundreds of fabulously dressed party-goers, decked out as clouds, lightning bolts, poncho-clad stormchasers. It\u2019s a real\u00a0event.
